Just wondering but are there anime fans reading my blog?

Gathering at the lobby early in the morning to get ready for our big shopping spree at the famous otaku heaven, AKIHABARA!

Reached a tad too early and some shops wasn't opened for business yet. Took this above the Kotobukiya shop! Ewww Aizen-sama shaked and didn't even tell me it was blur until I saw it on the camera. :(

Even batteries and memory card comes in cute pinky anime packaging. I will assume that product will never fail me for the rest of my life.

Like Neon Genesis Evangelion? Try these, there's a technique to grabbing such stuff. I couldn't share because I don't know what the technique is (even if I do, I wouldn't share muahahahaha).

Seems to be edible from the instructions given behind. What, instant noodles? Who will have the heart to eat such a magical looking object? D:

Even the vans here are amusing. I saw an extremely long and huge lorry van at Shibuya in pink and Japanese idols all over. You just feel like going over and get banged by the lorry van for once.

I'm just kidding. If I did that what's going to happen to my figurines at home? ^-^

One of the most exciting thing from this trip would be meeting Danny Choo in person! You'll be greeted with his daughters (dollfies), figurines, anime, manga and the likes in his blog, basically Japanese otaku culture.

With him, there was the NHK Channel responsible for filming our entire day at Akihabara with Danny guiding us around.

We walked Akihabara with the NHK crew's equipment so we invited a lot of stares. I read on Danny's blog and the show is going to be aired on this month, May 28th worldwide. Say hello to your TV if you guys spotted us!

Oh that actually sounds weird. :/

Say.. do you collect dollfies?

Still remembering while I was queuing up to enter the Natsu Matsuri held in Singapore, they were several guys (and girls) carrying a dollfie on their arms. I knew there's something called a dollfie but I never knew they looked like that.

So I did my homework and that's how I got to know about such dolls existence.

Mio-chan! You can see Kagamine Rin behind her too, the one with yellow hair.

Hatsune Miku diligently doing her... janai. I thought she was doing her homework but she's doodling instead.

Never found this cute, I got tricked into believing this is Hatsune Miku's prototype. Got my doubts cleared only recently. I wasn't the only one that thought she was Hatsune Miku though, because they looked so similar!

But nawww, a prototype can't be this ugly anyway. (FYI I hate robots, so I never watched anime like Gundam)

But I won't say I won't Gundam for sure, maybe 10 years later I will?

Did you guys feel a sense of belonging to Akihabara? It doesn't matter whether you've been there or not, it's about the FEEL!

THE FEEL!!!!!!!! Nostalgia is stealing away every inch of me now.

As I am blogging these I am reviewing all those figurine pictures again, sure made me regret not grabbing some of the cute looking ones. How do I say this? I didn't have any specific figurines that I had to get that time, so I got whatever that caught my eye.

Troubled a lot of people due to my buys though, that was impulsive of me. @_@

But there's actually a lot of nice figurines that I really like as I'm seeing the pictures currently. Oww man, but no use regretting since there's NO way I could have brought anymore back. I was already struggling.

Her hair looks like chocolate coronet! Ahhh tabetai!

And the long awaited MAID CAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came to know that it's quite a renowned maid cafe in Akihabara area, they do not take reservations but we got it! Hur hur, I think it might be due to Danny.

I went to check the website and here it is, click! The maids at the top were the ones serving us that day, and that butler is actually a female. Her wig that time was blonde/brown.

Their event calendars! They even do cosplays like "Sailormoon", "School Girls", etc. Can be found on the website itself. I wouldn't choose to go if they are cosplaying Sailormoon though, because I've grown out of it already.

I WANT NAKED BODY WITH AN APRON!!!! ........ Kidding.

The maids that served us!

Why is she called Yui? I don't know when it started but I got something against this name. Probably due to it's commodity. Anyway her voice is kawaiiiiiii! Love love.

She was the one serving us as a butler. We were talking about her platform shoes and her wig while dining lolololololol.

And we got her miniature figurine! But don't look like her leh.

Although photography wasn't allowed inside the maid cafe, I managed to steal a few shots of the menu. Yay!

Feel like having curry rice when I'm blogging about the maid cafe because we were having that as our lunch. *_*

Honest opinion : It was plain and tastes average.

But we all know that people visit maid cafes not for the food, but to play games, collect points/stamps and take pictures with the maid. Technically it's just to satisfy your eye desires instead of your stomach.

I enjoyed the experience a lot though, it's like one big family having meals together!

Aizen-sama and I. Why do I think I look like a cat here. I don't like cats. @_@

The boss of the maid cafe suddenly came rushing down and gave us freebies! Which is the Rie minature figurine that I was talking about earlier, it's cute and portable and I can bring her out for dinner dates.

I guess he decided to be generous because Danny or the NHK crew were there. =P
