I love to watch anime, read manga and gaming plays a BIG part in my life. I fantasize in anime characters alot, and I love everything Japanese. ❤

I'm lazy till the extent its ridiculous, and my mindset would be the greatest downfall in my life. I need a brain change. =D

I stopped at us getting on the shuttle bus in front of our hotel at the previous entry, shall continue from there.

    Photobucket

We were at Chiba that night, and dinner as planned was to be at Aeon Mall.

    AEON MALL
24, Wing Tsuchiya, Narita, Chiba. 286-0029, Japan
    http://www.aeonmall.com/index.php

(Got the information from Yoshimi's blog)

    Photobucket

When I first heard of the mall, I thought of Final Fantasy X.

Because Aeons are the companions that fought alongside us during the game to challenge against the strong bosses. What a good name for a mall! Something to expect from Japan.

    Photobucket

Pachinko. It's about two more years till I can go in, so maybe I should plan my next trip to be two years later. But no! I wanna go back as soon as I can!

    Photobucket

    Walking inside the gigantic mall.

I kind of got lost because I forgot where the exit was, and that's when your friend comes in handy. Walking street directory! Arigatou Aizen-sama for guiding me through the lost times. Put me inside alone and try and see if I can find a way out to take revenge for what I said about you being a walking directory if there's a next time.

Actually, just put me in Orchard. There's no difference.

    Photobucket

Taiyaki! It was freezing cold at night and it rained! Probably just some drizzle here and there but no doubt it added onto the horrible temperature. If I wasn't wrong, it was about 3°C.

I was expecting at most maybe say 12°C to be honest. But I was enjoying my frozen state, it's quite fun actually. Like going "BRRRRR COOOLD!" but the next minute when we stepped into a shopping mall/shop, "AHHHHHH I FEEL ALIVE~"

    Photobucket

The exact opposite of what we usually feel in Singapore. Feeling hot? Drag our arses into shopping malls to "blow" aircon.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

We decided on "Tonkatsu"(豚カツ) just outside Aeon Shopping Mall for dinner. There are a lot of delicious looking food inside the mall too but too spoilt for choices!

We call it Dust Bin, they call it Dust Box.

    Photobucket

They're sesame seeds. They have a few types of sauces for you to mix and eat it together with your Tonkatsu I suppose. My table squashed the sesame seeds till the seeds lost its' original form! We're not playing with it, it is the right way to do it.

The delicious looking menu. Somehow that night, it didn't appear as delicious to me though, because in cold weather I tend to lose my appetite. Therefore I can't be born an eskimo. But I'm glad to say I managed to finish my meal that night.

I was chanting "CANNOT WASTE CANNOT WASTE CANNOT WASTE CANNOT WASTE" in my heart while chatting with everybody.

    Photobucket

Some pictures from Jim's camera (can be found at http://www.tokyoanitour.asia/ as well) :

    Photobucket

The place that we were dining at.

    Photobucket

This picture looked empty because the rest of the Japanese diners were at the other side. Oh, one thing. There's no restrictions in Japan dining places that you cannot smoke, unlike Singapore where most of the food places are banned from it.

Can never understand why would people want to eat their food while smoking.

    Photobucket

The tour mates at the other table!

Slime Master, Green Hair Fetish, Yong at the left.
Game Master, Hacker, Jeremy at the right.

Our table didn't take group photo I think! Waaaaaah totally forgotten about it. My brain got frozen.

    Photobucket

The fun part before your meal.

    Photobucket

Say "Itadakimasu!" before your every meal! I said that in my heart before I start eating. Sometimes I say it out, sometimes I don't.

You can spot me and my white jacket at the top right! This is Jim's food but it's okay that I post it because I ordered the same thing. And the white bowl seems to be empty, but it's filled with rice.

    Photobucket

Our first authentic Japanese style meal excluding the one that we had on board the plane. Can you feel my happiness from this picture?

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

Went back to Aeon Mall after dinner to walk around and perhaps, shop? Or grab more bites if you'd like. I was saying about having a weak appetite so I didn't get any snacks, awww.

    残念ですけど。。

Looking at them isn't that bad either.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

    美味しいそう!

    Photobucket

The movies that are going to be out in Japan? There's Gintama's one though, but I didn't see the advertisement for that in Chiba, pictures for it next time.

    Photobucket

    Nodame Cantabile?

    Photobucket

Nicholas visited a book shop and took these pictures! This is so weird, I also visited a book store (under the threat of Aizen-sama, and out of the kindness of my heart) but I didn't see any of these! I must have gone to the wrong one.

It's fine, I'm satisfied with just pictures (LIKE WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO NOW T_T).

    Photobucket

When it's reaching the appointed meeting time to go back to the hotel (we're catching the last shuttle bus back), I saw Nicholas and he fished out two of the nendroids that he bought from some shop inside Aeon Mall.

    Needless to say,

    I
    WENT
    CRAZY.

He brought me to the dreamy shop and I was spoilt for choices! The figurines there was ridiculously cheap compared to Akihabara! Of course, it's only Day 1 so I didn't know how Akihabara extort us otakus so mercilessly so I didn't buy a lot from that shop!

Bought only 2? or 3. I cannot remember.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

    *SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*

Didn't dare to buy more because I thought I must save enough for Akihabara! The markup is quite high there but the choices and variety there are heavenly so I shadn't complain too much. Still my type of paradise!

Also got fascinated by the drinks in the various vending machines so took a few shots.

    Photobucket

All looked yummy to drink doesn't it? But I already bought drinks inside Aeon Mall so better not spend for the sake of spending. The drink that I got was really good! In fact all the drinks that I drank in Japan was good.

Some can be found in Singapore also but somehow it tastes better when you get it in Japan. There's a theory to it.

    Photobucket

Look at this Jerry, Kitamura opened a shop that deals with photographs!

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

A Japanese version of Guardians' or ABC store in Singapore.

    Photobucket

Arcade! Was tempted to try out the machines inside but I'm supposed to save my money till the Holy Day. Didn't want to risk missing the shuttle bus too.

    Photobucket

Back to the hotel! Oyasumi to everyone, removed my makeup and slept.

Sherry wanted to play cards together to pass the night but I don't wanna play poker cardssssssssssss. It feels like chalet which I don't like.

    Photobucket

Was the last to shower and Aizen-sama happened to be someone that prefers sleeping early instead of talking so I hit the sack after showering too.

    Photobucket

This is the drink I was talking about! It's very nice, packaging looks tempting as well. I didn't bear to throw it away till the last day of my Japan trip because I like it so much! I even planned to bring the empty bottle back HAHAHAHAHA.

I didn't of course. My luggage was FULL to the brim, hand carry was PACKED to the max, it's not possible to contain one empty bottle. You wouldn't understand my sorrow. =P

That marks the end of my Day 1. Hope you guys can feel my effort and joy while typing it!

P/S : To those that missed my Day 1 (Part I), I've added a column solely to place all my entries regarding my Japan trip so check it out there! Will be updating that column until I finish blogging all the days I've spent in eternal happiness.
